XO sauce originates from Hong Kong, but this is a Japanese interpretation of the famous sauce and as such has a unique flavour. It contains dried shrimp and scallops cooked with onion, garlic, chilli and because it’s a Japanese made version, of course they added katsuobushi! Most suited to stir fries and fried rice. Adds an unforgettable Umami flavour to any dish!
