Pumpkin Muscade

The magical Cinderella’s carriage pumpkin, the Muscade de Provence is a beautiful French heirloom variety with a firm, orange flesh. It has a mild, spicy scent and a sweet flavour with a hint of muskiness from which it draws its name. One of the only squashes which can be enjoyed raw as well as cooked, it’s terrifically versatile. Eat wedges raw like a cantaloupe or add to pies, stews, soups or curries. Its striking shape also make it a stunning centrepiece when stuffed and roasted.
