Lettuce Gem x2

One of the sweetest of the lettuce varieties with very few bitter notes, these crisp, oval shaped lettuces have a tender and compact heart. While it’s a welcome addition to a mixed leaf salad, the halved lettuces keep their shape take on a delicious and deeper, nuttier flavour when brushed with olive oil and grilled, or braised with other garden vegetables.
