Larger flakes than you find with desiccated coconut, and slightly less dry in texture, these coconut flakes are ideal for use in both sweet and savoury dishes. Their cosy, nutty flavour can be brought to the fore by toasting and they are delicious sprinkled on salads, added to granola or muesli and incorporated into your baking.
