Known in France as ‘carottes de sables’, sand carrots are noticeably sweeter than standard carrots due to the sandy soil in which they're grown. From the beautiful Normandy coast, these carrots are slightly tender and deliver a good crunch. Deeply orange and ruler-straight they have a lovely earthy, mineral flavour.
